I have recently come across these scriptures for the Rosary. God bless you abundantly for taking the time to make up this sight. I have no doubt they are getting a lot of use. May we never give up in the spiritual battle of winning souls for Christ through the Most Holy Rosary!!

Richard, there is a minor error in the Third Sorrowful Mystery. On the third and fifth Hail Mary bead reading they are Joyful Mystery beads.

God Bless You and do Love the ones you put on line and without a doubt when a person is as busy as you with the different ones you have written up it can be easy to error.

Hi, Edward,

Thank you for your comment. When compiling the meditations for the Crowing with Thorns above, I actually thought it might serve to accentuate the sorrowful character of the mystery to juxtapose the true obeisance given the baby Jesus by the magi with mockery of the Roman soldiers, as with the reverent used of the title King of the Jews as used by the magi, to that of the Roman soldiers, to whom this title meant very little and who, again, used it in mockery.

The verses for the sorrowful mysteries at the following link more directly and concretely reflect the mysteries in question: http://scripturalrosary.blogspot.com/2007/12/sorrowful-mysteries.html

I especially like the Old and New Testament parallels.
